15th Annual Eden RiverFest Cancellation
Eden Mayor Neville Hall has announced that the 15th Annual Eden RiverFest has been cancelled due to Hurricane Florence. While the exact path of the storm has yet to be determined, most predictive models show it is headed toward Central North Carolina, including Eden. The forecasted heavy rains and high winds would make it dangerous for vendors and attendees alike.
“This is our largest annual event and we are disappointed that it has to be cancelled, but the safety of all involved is of primary importance,” stated Hall. The City has scheduled additional emergency personnel on duty or standby to address the impact of the storm.

RiverFest is a celebration of Eden’s art, history and river heritage. This annual event takes place in Historic Downtown Eden. The downtown area dates back to 1797.
Come on down and enjoy two stages of live music, lots of great food, over 100 artisans and crafters, interactive activities for the kids, Paul Bunyon Lumberjack Show, a Trick Roper and so much more!!
